Do You Have an Eye Cream That Helps with EYE BAGS and DARK CIRCLES?

When I started to notice the persistent EYE BAGS and DARK CIRCLES complaints with my dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) patients, I knew I had to do something about it. I wanted to formulate an eye cream that addressed EYE BAGS and DARK CIRCLES without compromising my patient's eye problems. Meet A.M. Eyelid Gel!

The Search for Ingredients Targeting: EYE BAGS and DARK CIRCLES

I found beautiful ingredients that were effective and also EYE SAFE for dry eyes and MGD. In addition to being botanical, vegan and cruelty free - these ingredients were water soluble, allowing them to be formulated in an eye cream targeting dehydrated eyelid skin. Now that's what I call a WIN-WIN.

EYE BAGS via Ptychopetalum / Pfaffia / Lilium Extract Complex In AM Eyelid Gel

Actually a trio of botanicals that become a powerful complex when combined in formulation. Ptychopetalum / Pfaffia / Lilium Extract Complex aka Bioskinup™ Contour 3R works via a lipolytic effect that directly targets under eye EYE BAGS. It works by strengthening and defending the vascular walls of your eyelid skin. I’ve seen how this ingredient can visibly reduce puffiness and improve skin tone around the eyes in just 30 days.

DARK CIRCLES via Glucosyl Hesperidin in AM Eyelid Gel

Glucosyl Hesperidin is a potent bioflavonoid derived from citrus fruit; plays a crucial role in softening the appearance of DARK CIRCLES by improving eyelid skin surface circulation, it reduces the dullness and swelling that often lead to DARK CIRCLES; antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

    • ANTIOXIDANT, meaning - scavenges free radicals and reduces oxidative stress in the eyelid skin.
    • ANTI-INFLAMMTORY, meaning helps to calm irritated eyelid skin and reduce inflammation.

How to Incorporate A.M. Eyelid Gel into Your Beauty / Eye Care Routine

In the morning with a clean face, gently pat a very thin layer of A.M. Eyelid Gel on the lower eyelids. A very thin layer is all you need. Using a lot of eye cream is just wasting it. Eyelid skin takes approximately 28 days to regenerate - so it's the number of consistent days of application you are striving for. Here you are targeting the area where EYE BAGS and DARK CIRCLES happen - usually the lower eyelids. You can also dunk Focused Eye Roll into a glass of ice water and roll over the lower eyelids after you've applied A.M. Eyelid Gel to reduce the puffy appearance.

Make Your Own Emulsion with A.M. Eyelid Gel

A.M. Eyelid Gel can also be blended with P.M. Eyelid Butter (if dry, flakey, red, eyelid skin is a concern) or Eye Eye F™ Eye Balm (for mature, dry eyelid skin). I like to start my patients out on a 50:50 ratio of either P.M. Eyelid Butter / Eye Eye F Eye Balm to A.M. Eyelid Gel.
